Random Angels

by
Pat Thacker

My haiku come to life from whatever I am thinking of at the time. For example, my signature haiku came to mind when I was thinking back to children playing in the snow. I chose these haiku simply because they are my favorites. I enjoy the visual haiku, whether they are the ones that look aesthetically interesting or the ones that give you strong mental pictures. I also enjoy the simple haiku, the ones that you can look at and understand. Haiku are meant to be enjoyed, not pondered over for eternity. So on that note, enjoy Random Angels.

snow falls
hitting my face
outstretched hands

watching flares
cigarettes

I start to be worried
as a staple gun is grabbed
