Super Haiku

by
Kyler Fear

This book helps to capture my adventure that I have set off on in our haiku class this semester. I have found haiku to be an incredible way to express one’s emotions and ideas. I approach every haiku with a vague idea of the direction I would like to take it. From this point I leave the rest up to inspiration. The haiku in this book have been written in just that fashion.

TV on mute
I recite every line
of Avengers

walking through the valley
the verses
fall silent

the man bleeds
from his wound
Cupid's arrow

velvet touch
she cuddles against
my arm

strong hug
from frail frame
Sunday at grandma's

glass on glass
the boys battle
with their marbles
