the next afternoon
tequila still dancing
in my veins

feeding the fire
making my point
in silence

  

 

holding the seed catalog
she gazes at the snow
soon

with a smile
I choke down casserole
dinner at grandma's

  

 

a lovely daydream
in the background
professor drones
