sisters gossiping over tea
in a summer kitchen
the muffins burn

summer sun
my road map
flies out the window

in a floating hammock
I daydream—
leaves settle on my hair

  

 

autumn breeze
       one dark lock
               escapes her braid

fall break
one sneaky ladybug
at home in my suitcase

  

 

winter stroll
my breath in crystals
on my scarf
