haiku

an open book
I read your heart
with pursed lips

could you capture
in the winter
an invisible tear?

our lips meet
my heart trembles
beneath the covers

a rainbow carp
imitates a woman
mood ring

just hold it all steady—
sometimes at night
empty yard, swings gone
