slow dancing in the kitchen
a moment
we all daydream of

drinks & laughs
i will replay tonight
a thousand times over

cold room
his body
my blanket

windows down
music blaring
Serotonin

i can finally relax
knowing nothing
is due at 11:59 pm

spring break
why do i feel guilty
for relaxing

windows down
short sleeves
I am happy again

elegant dress
stage makeup
I feel like a million bucks

dancing around the table
La Grange on the stereo
I will never forget

cupcake
I wonder what it will be
damn, another brother

dinner with grandma
ice cream for dessert
every time

following the nurse
down the hall
eyes facing forward
