EXPRESSION
by
Ryan Hosler
When
creating a haiku, I try to capture just a moment in time
because this I feel is the very essence of haiku.
My
haiku attempts to pick out these moments and express them
in the most lyrical way possible. So read, imagine, and
most of all enjoy!

The
men
and their football game
wives yell "pie"
|
|
|
In
the rose garden
two heads
slowly peek out
|
winter
wonderland
I shake the snow
from my boots

|
|
Tree
climbing
on a summer day
a branch snaps
