A Whole New World
by
Charley Condill
I wrote this haiku collection for my Global Haiku class at Millikin University in 2024. It is entitled A Whole New World because one of my best haiku used that phrase in its last line. Additionally, this title relates to my experience with learning and writing haiku. Choosing these haiku was simple; I selected my favorites and the haiku that the readers liked best. The collection includes various topics and evokes many emotions. What I want to portray in this book is love for the parts of life that usually go unnoticed. This poetic journey opened my mind to endless creativity and a new outlook on the little details of life. |
