My First Haiku
by
Damyah Word
When I first started this class I had no idea what a haiku is. I had fun learning and interpreting poems in my own way. I really didn’t know how to form them at all but as I went on, I found my voice and how I saw them. Its about letting your imagination take you to a certain place or how you could relate in your day-to-day life. I don’t think there is any wrong way to read them because everyone thinks differently. My poems are a like bit more relatable than imaginative. |

the sun is shining
