Selected Haiku

by
Brandon Brenner

This collection was written at the end of the winter season 2010. The inspiration came from many sources, however all of them were drawn from experiences that struck my being at the particular instance. I learned early on that the art of Haiku is most effectively communicated by translating experiences that have the potential of pulling on the heart of the reader. All of the Haiku chosen for this collection is hoped to do just that, touch the heart of the reader in a way that draws a warm recollection of their own experiences. I have certainly enjoyed finding many forgotten memories of my own while reading others’ works. My goal is that at least one of these finds a misplaced memory for everyone who enjoys this collection.
