Selected Haiku

by
Amanda Cole

The haiku that I write come from my everyday life. At night, I sit in my garage and smoke cigarettes while reflecting on the day. On the table, my trusted notebook rest next to the ash tray. Over the years, I have filled countless notebooks with my thoughts, stories, list, and doodling. I put my feelings and contemplations on paper, this is how I relax. Most of these haiku were written thumbing through past notes and smoking cigarettes. Enjoy.
